Flash Card

Scope

Create a flash card for children learning simple addition and subtraction with a provided math problem and a provided animal.

Process

Development of sketches and ideas to create a flashcard that fits into the criteria. Starting with pencil sketches and review with the finalized vision for the card. I took the sketch into digital programs to redraw and finalize the image with color. Taking the image and adding text in InDesign.

Outcome

The assignment was to continue building on illustrative and typography design but to also do it in the context of a childrens product and think about what child might like to look at rather than an adult.
